Entering its 48th year the Head Of The Charles Regatta is the world’s largest two day rowing competition attracting over 300,000 spectators and 9,000 competitors each year.

RACING

55 Event-divisions:
Twelve sculling, fourteen crew–along a three mile course on the Charles River beginning at the Boston University Boathouse, (next to the Hyatt Regency) passing under 7 bridges linking Boston and Cambridge and ending at Artesani Park on Soldier’s Field Road in Brighton.

Saturday, October 20th: 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Collegiate, Master, Club and Championship Doubles & Singles.

Sunday, October 21st: 8:00AM – 4:30PM
Youth, Veteran, Master, Lightweight and Championship events;

COMPETITORS

Over 9,000 male and female rowers, youth, collegiate, master and veteran age groupings, representing more than 500 clubs, colleges and universities worldwide; entries will come from the US, UK, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Ireland, Spain, Russia, Peru, Holland, Denmark, Australia, Slovenia, South Africa, Croatia, Yugoslavia Taiwan, Japan and Canada.
